Welcome to my blog

I hope you enjoy reading my posts, and please leave me a comment. I always enjoy reading them, and will try to visit you in return.

For security reasons for me and for you, I would appreciate it if you would leave your name on your comments.

You are welcome to copy any of my designs, as long as you do not take credit for them yourself. I am very happy for you to sell them. If I have used anyone else's design, I always try to give credit where it is due. If I have missed anything, please let me know and I will put things right.

This is intended to be mainly about my crafting stories, as a personal record of what I do. However, I interpret crafting quite widely, not just paper crafting but other things too. I have a butterfly mind and like to change from one thing to another depending on what I feel like on a given day - knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, cards, baking and several others, including my favourite right now, parchment, both traditional skills and Groovi, very relaxing and calming to do.

I have decided to put some structure into my blog so that each day will have something of a theme.
Monday- for Mindfulness; Tuesday - Tidy Up Day; Wednesday - What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday; Thursday - Technique and Tips; Friday - Finish Off Day; Saturday - Start Something New; Sunday - Anything Goes
These themes are not hard and fast and will be changed if I feel the need.

Friday Smile

This is my second post of the day but it is a while since I joined in with Annies's Friday Smiles and I have missed being a part of it.  So here I am again with a couple of photos taken on Christmas Day.

I thought I would show you pictures of a very happy little girl, who had just got the one thing she really wanted.
Charlotte has always loved the "Flumper" we gave her little sister, Rosie, when she was born.  Flumper is a large floppy eared rabbit with a wheat bag in his tummy.  She really wanted one of her very own to cuddle.

Fortunately, I had bought a second one at the same time for myself, just to keep in the caravan so it was obvious that this one was destined for Charlotte.  After all, I only see it a few times a year, when it could be loved every day.

This was the final present brought out of the box, and you can see the joy this brought.  Her pleasure certain brings smiles for the rest of us.  I hope it makes you smile too.

Now I am off to link up with Annie, and have a look at all the other happy pictures there.

HMMM!! I though I left a comment on your candles, but apparently I was so sleepy I forgot. My apologies, my bad.

Charlotte is not only one TALENTED young lady, she is also beautiful. And now she graces Friday Smiles with hers. What an adorable way to share Friday. Love it.

Hello Maggie and lovely photos to smile about. Anne x

PS It is sad that my DS and D.I.L. don't like the children's photos on the internet. Unfortunately my son is employed in the world of ICT etc and has come across some rather nasty examples of children where innocently posted photos have been altered - not in a nice way. It is so sad that this goes on. x
