Welcome to my blog

I hope you enjoy reading my posts, and please leave me a comment. I always enjoy reading them, and will try to visit you in return.

For security reasons for me and for you, I would appreciate it if you would leave your name on your comments.

You are welcome to copy any of my designs, as long as you do not take credit for them yourself. I am very happy for you to sell them. If I have used anyone else's design, I always try to give credit where it is due. If I have missed anything, please let me know and I will put things right.

This is intended to be mainly about my crafting stories, as a personal record of what I do. However, I interpret crafting quite widely, not just paper crafting but other things too. I have a butterfly mind and like to change from one thing to another depending on what I feel like on a given day - knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, cards, baking and several others, including my favourite right now, parchment, both traditional skills and Groovi, very relaxing and calming to do.

I have decided to put some structure into my blog so that each day will have something of a theme.
Monday- for Mindfulness; Tuesday - Tidy Up Day; Wednesday - What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday; Thursday - Technique and Tips; Friday - Finish Off Day; Saturday - Start Something New; Sunday - Anything Goes
These themes are not hard and fast and will be changed if I feel the need.

WOYWW-239

This is the first time I have tried to create a post using my new Kindle Fire, so I hope it works.  As I am appallingly late posting this week, I hope you will excuse the fact that it is not even a crafting picture.  I do not have any on this Kindle to show you.  But this one just made me smile.  Gemma is a serial escapologist, especially in the caravan, and has even gone out through the Windows.  So we started to keep a very short lead on her during the day to give us a fighting chance.  As you can see here, she is fed up and asking for it to be removed.

Hopefully, I can get back to blogging and crafting properly as this year gets going.  I do want to thank all those wonderful friends out there, who have given me so much support over the past months.  A Very Happy New Year to you all

Hi Marg, better late than never, Happy New Year from us both. Gemma does look very sweet sat there, doesn't she? A bit like children, able to look like butter wouldn't melt when they want to! Will speak soon, Love Shaz xx

A Good New Year to you and yours Maggie. Lovely photo of Gemma ... how can you resist those beseeching eyes :) Love your banner - the wintry scene is lovely. Look forward to seeing your blogs and craft projects throughout 2014. Oh, and your not much later than me this week! Hugs, Elizabeth x #79

PS: My pre-Christmas treat to myself was the stamps for Clarity's Classroom 15-23 lesson - I couldn't resist them, now I just have to find time to work with them.
