Welcome to my blog

I hope you enjoy reading my posts, and please leave me a comment. I always enjoy reading them, and will try to visit you in return.

You are welcome to copy any of my designs, as long as you do not take credit for them yourself. I am very happy for you to sell them. If I have used anyone else's design, I always try to give credit where it is due. If I have missed anything, please let me know and I will put things right.

This is intended to be mainly about my crafting stories, as a personal record of what I do. However, I interpret crafting quite widely, not just paper crafting but other things too. I have a butterfly mind and like to change from one thing to another depending on what I feel like on a given day - knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, cards, baking and several others.

Probably my favourite craft right now is with parchment, both traditional skills and Groovi, very relaxing and calming to do.

WOYWW - 183

This is the parlous state of my desk this morning (well, last night, and it hasn't changed since).  Binoculars to watch the birds on the feeders outside, keyboard to write this post, paintbox used for the last project (cannot be shown yet) and to be used on the next one, and sundry other bits and pieces that need putting away.  Still cannot find that foiling kit, drat it!

If you are wondering why I am showing you this dull mess on my desk, then you had better go over to Julia's desk to see loads of others showing you their desk on Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

It is now official, there are not enough days this month to get everything done, presents still to buy, cards to write and to send, life to live .......   HELP!!!!!  I need more time.  Hope to see you all later around the blogs.  Love and hugs to you all.

This is great Maggie it makes me feel right at home as I don't have any space left on my desk and it doesn't have a keyboard on it :)

Hi Marg, a very stupid thing to have done, even if I do say so myself. Shoulders not too bad if I keep my arm very close to my body, the bruises are a pain tho! Beckys blog is up and running I see.Not a lot of crafting going on at the moment, trying to get my new room done. As soon as the plaster dries out it will be all systems go(or hobble) in my case. Speak soon, love to you both, Shaz

Hope your foiling kit turns up soon - its so annoying when things disappear. I know that feeling about not having enough days left - I still have to make all my cards!

Lol - I always have my binocs handy in the kitchen so I can watch what's going on with the birds on my feeders and in the fields at the bottom of my garden. x Jo

Oh Maggie, I know just how you feel. Can we borrow a time machine to go back and give ourselves some precious extra days? I'm so busy with school and band that I don't know which way I'm facing at the moment!
Roll on a rest after Christmas :)

Looking forward to project reveals, but happy to put up with keyboards and binoculars for now... How about sending New Year's Cards instead? Gives you an extra week after all the other stuff's over and done with!! Happy WOYWW!

So that's the problem!! I wondered why I seemed to be hurtling out of control towards Christmas too. Someone has stolen all the days!!
I love your binoculars, Maggie, that has to be a first on someone's workdesk!!
Hope you manage to get everything done.

Don't you hate it when you know you have something and you look and look for it where you thought you put it and you just *can't* find it! I have that happen sometimes and its incredibly frustrating...hope you find your foiling kit soon. :) Thanks for stopping by my blog already and leaving me an encouraging comment! Deeyll #122 :)
