Welcome to my blog

I hope you enjoy reading my posts, and please leave me a comment. I always enjoy reading them, and will try to visit you in return.

For security reasons for me and for you, I would appreciate it if you would leave your name on your comments.

You are welcome to copy any of my designs, as long as you do not take credit for them yourself. I am very happy for you to sell them. If I have used anyone else's design, I always try to give credit where it is due. If I have missed anything, please let me know and I will put things right.

This is intended to be mainly about my crafting stories, as a personal record of what I do. However, I interpret crafting quite widely, not just paper crafting but other things too. I have a butterfly mind and like to change from one thing to another depending on what I feel like on a given day - knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, cards, baking and several others, including my favourite right now, parchment, both traditional skills and Groovi, very relaxing and calming to do.

I have decided to put some structure into my blog so that each day will have something of a theme.
Monday- for Mindfulness; Tuesday - Tidy Up Day; Wednesday - What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday; Thursday - Technique and Tips; Friday - Finish Off Day; Saturday - Start Something New; Sunday - Anything Goes
These themes are not hard and fast and will be changed if I feel the need.

WOYWW 156

Hopefully, I am keeping things short this week, as Julia does ask us to.  It has been a hectic week so far and looks like being busy all the way through, with three or four things on each day.

I thought you might like to see the goodies that arrived on my desk yesterday from my two favourite companies.  Can't wait to get down to playing with them

The Derwent box is what I have got to put in the caravan as it contains a small range of most things with room to stuff one or two extras, like the blending pens and water brushes.

All the other things are from Clarity, including a couple of the new wheelies stencils (brilliant) and the second set of word chains.

Again there has not been a lot of time to craft with life getting in the way as usual, but I do need to gather some things together now for my Workshop with Maria Simms at Shrewsbury at the weekend, which should be fun.  A whole day just to craft with like minded people - bliss!

Then the following day, I am finally getting rid of my large dining table and eight chairs, which I no longer need, apart from the fact that I cannot move it to even vacuum properly.  Once that room is empty, I can vacuum it and then shampoo the carpet thoroughly before buying a new smaller table and chairs to take its place, something I can move on my own.

I hope you have all had a great week, doing whatever you desired, and now, perhaps, it is time you took your cup of coffee and wandered back to Julia's to meet up with some more crafting friends.  I hope to get round to meet as many of you as possible again this week.

Oh, can I come and play too! Lovely new goodies ... I do so like the way Clarity stamps come wrapped in tissue - very special. Coincidentally, we keep talking about replacing our heavy dining table and chairs for something a lot lighter too ... no doubt we will get around to it one day. Have a good week. Elizabeth x #70

Lovely goodies on your desk. Those stamps look interesting and I do love that box. I have a box fettish btw!
Great idea to keep stuff in the caravan, at least you will know where it is.
I don't blame you for downsizing your table if it isn't working for you.
