It has been a while since I wrote on my blog, but today is a special day for many of us for those of us who knew Shaz Silverwolf (Sharon Brooks). A talented crafter, so generous with her tips and techniques.
Today was the day we all said goodbye to her earthly life but she will live on in our hearts. A perfect send off for Shaz's spirit, allowing he to fly free with the birds into the beautiful countryside outside that window. As we get older, sadly it is a place we visit more and more frequently, but that view does calm the spirit, even though we cannot all be there.
On a personal note, I owe a lot of my crafting life to Shaz. She inspired me to start my own blog and I learned a lot of brilliant techniques from her, for which I will always be grateful.
RIP Shaz Silverwolf. Long may she live on in our hearts and memories.

Dearest Maggie, as you say, not blogged for a while.. I’d had a break too till yest. Your post came up in my sidebar and I just happened to see it, and yes though now Saturday here, I was yesterday remembering Shaz as I happened to join ip with Annie’s smiles and she shared re Shaz’s funeral.
Very sad especially as you couldn’t go with number restrictions.
You actually introduced me to Shaz via your blog from memory as you popped after to my blog after Eileen shared it on her Friday post where she’d share about new bloggers. So I’m deeply indebted to you.
I didn’t see funeral as was too late and link not working now it wants psssword etc.but Doug’s posts were beautiful and really honouring to Shaz.
Pray you’re keeping well Maggie, I am at the moment which is nice. I’m very grateful.
